The Hudsonville Christian School Educational Foundation is dedicated to the promotion of Christ-centered education. Its primary purpose is to accumulate an endowment fund from which the earnings are used to reduce tuition costs to parents of children enrolled in Hudsonville Christian School.
The HCS Educational Foundation was founded in 1973 with $2,897 and a vision for the future. Dedicated to supplement the funding of Christian education at Hudsonville Christian School on a long-term basis, the endowment was built over the next 13 years. Since 1986, the Foundation has contributed significant annual support to the ministry of Hudsonville Christian School. This year the Foundation is giving $74,000 to help lower the cost of tuition.
In order to maintain and increase its support of Christian education, the Foundation depends upon membership and many types of gifts. Each gift is held in trust with investment income donated annually to the school. The Foundation will promote, accept and manage gifts of property, securities, life insurance bequests, cash and other forms of contribution for the sole use and benefit of Hudsonville Christian School, its students and succeeding generations. The Foundation is administered by a Board of Trustees approved by the Hudsonville Christian School Board.
The Vision established for the Foundation in 1973 is even more important today. Hudsonville Christian School contributes to the healthy vitality of our community by providing quality Christ-centered education for over 900 students in grades K-8. Long-term financial support from the Foundation will ensure financial affordability for all who desire a Christian education for their children.
By becoming a member of the Foundation, you will benefit from the joy of knowing your gifts are permanently invested. The earnings from these investments are used to meet increasing needs of Christian education each year. In essence, a gift to the Foundation will continue to give, year after year.
