The Tuition Reduction Incentive Program being offered by Hudsonville Christian School is a parent volunteer organization committed to reducing educational costs to parents. Through the TRIP program, large quantities of gift/merchandise certificates are purchased by the TRIP Committee from over 100 participating food and retail stores at a discount. These certificates are sold at face value to families who participate in the program. The discount, or rebate, that is earned by the TRIP Committee is passed on to families who have, or will have, children in Hudsonville Christian or Unity Christian High School. One percent is retained by the TRIP Committee to cover expenses, with any remaining amount going to Hudsonville Christian to help defray costs normally covered by tuition.
The TRIP program is a completely parent-run volunteer program designed to benefit first the parent, then the school.
NETWORKING...Friends, neighbors other family members, grandpas and grandmas, etc. can help you just by putting their orders and checks in your envelope.
FUTURE FAMILIES...Don't have anyone in school yet? This is perfect for you. Earnings can exceed a year's tuition before your child even gets there, and then keep helping out throughout his /her years through high school.
DROP-OFF / PICK-UP TIMES are Monday, 4:30 - 7:30 P.M. at school.
To date tuition credit earned by parents participating in TRIP is 1.9 million dollars! In addition, TRIP has given HCS over $200,000 in gifts.
If you are interested in joining this enterprising venture, come to a registration / information meeting at school. Call the school office (616-669-6689) for the date of the next meeting.
If school is canceled TRIP business will still be conducted.
